About Sarah

I am a fine art landscape and portrait photographer, primarily focused on documenting the people and places of New Mexico, which is not only my lifelong home, but the home of my ancestors, spanning many generations. In addition to New Mexico, I love to photograph anywhere the camera takes me, including the California Coast and the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. 

My photographs engage a variety of themes that span the gamut from the spiritual to the secular. I am New Mexico's premier photographer of historic churches, and while many of the images I create focus on the history and evolution of the Catholic faith in New Mexico, I also employ my camera to tell the stories of New Mexico's varied landscape, and its evolution under the influence of humans and time. 

I strive to capture the beauty and emotion resident in every scene I photograph - so that when you look at one of my photographs, you have that sense of having been right there next to me as I created that image.
